Snowdrops

Magical walk in search of snowdrops

A short photo story about some nice discoveries

25 February was almost like the first day of spring to me, although not long after that winter has come again to Scotland (more about that here). That day I decided to go for a walk in search of snowdrops and had really magical time, wandering along Water of Leith.

Maleficent in gothic version

A villain is just a victim, whose story hasn’t been told…

In a far away land, long ago, lived a fairy who was cruelly hurt.

Her wings – the most important thing determined her being – were taken from her. Without her true self, the only thing remained was to turn against her torturer to make him suffer as much as she did. But one day she met this little princess and suddenly everything changed…

There is a place in Ediburgh, where I’m going every time I want to feel like in a fairytale.

Hidden in a small city valley, which used to be a grain milling area over 800 years ago. Today, if you listen carefully, you can still hear the wind of history there, blowing between magnificent victorian court, gray brick buildings reminding of medieval times and colourful houses by the river.

Hello from Neverland!

“You know that place between sleep and awake, that place where you still remember dreaming? That’s where I’ll be waiting.”

J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan

It’s always hard to start, isn’t it? To choose the right words for the beginning. But let’s try anyway!

It all started with Instagram

As I really love writing and I miss it a lot, I’ve been thinking about starting a blog from quite a long time. But it always seemed to be not-a-very-good idea, since “the golden era” of blogs is definietely behind us. I’m always a bit late, I tend to begin something, when others end it. Let’s call it rebel, can we? It always sounds better 😀
